An autumn request

We've had our usual mid-year break at Track a Tree, but are now spotting some beautiful autumn leaves in our local woodlands, as well as feasting on the spoils of the UK's finest orchards. Hopefully you're also enjoying some late year phenology wherever you are.
Now that the nights are longer, our thoughts have returned to Track a Tree analysis and we'd love to add in all of your 2017 observations to our overall results. Therefore, this is a big request to any of you who monitored tree(s) in spring this year but have not yet submitted your records to the Track a Tree website. Please could you send in any remaining observations by the 31st October.
Once we have any stray records and have done some number crunching, we'll send out a winter summary. In the meantime, if you'd like to send your sightings of autumn to our big sister project Nature's Calendar, they have a shiny new website that is well worth a look.
Some of my favourite autumn colours have been spotted in the North-west of Scotland this year, such as this vibrant Rowan.
Many thanks and have a fruitful October!
